We are yet to see the Nexus 4 official launch in India which is long due.But LG seems to think otherwise.

They are not waiting to launch their other high end offerings in India before they launch the Nexus 4(or if at all they are planning on launching the Nexus 4).LG recently launched the Optimus G.The phone which has similar specifications like the Nexus 4 for a price tag of Rs. 34,500.

The Optimus G has a 4.7″ display with 720P resolution.Under the hood it has the Snapdragon S4 Quad Core Processor,2GB of RAM,runs Jelly Bean 4.1.2 out of the box.It sports a 13 Megapixel Rear Camera with Full HD support and a 1.3Megapixel Front Facing Camera for Video Conferencing. Connectivity features like  NFC,GPS,WiFi,Bluetooth. It sports an internal memory of 32GB  with no SD Card Slot for further expansion.The device packs in 2011MAH Battery.

Windows Phones To Officially Launch in India on 12th October

We have had a fair share of the Windows Phones over here in india courtesy HTC and Dell who launched their first generation of Windows Phones in india back in December 2010 when we saw HTC HD7 and HTC Mozart launch in india and then we saw the Dell Venue Pro Launch as well(with preinstalled NoDo).

But officially we never had the Marketplace in india and had to use workaround like the US Windows Live ID or the Registry hack on Windows to enable the Marketplace on the Zune PC Client.But now post Mango update many things are changing for good.We saw the First Samsung Windows Phone launch in Omnia W a week ago and now as reported earlier by Abhishek Baxi ,Microsoft is all set to officially launch the Windows Phones Platform in India,as he received an invite for the same event in the mail.

We can expect a new breed of Windows Phones from Nokia and other manufacturers soon in the asian market .The launch is set for the 12th October and will take place in New Delhi.Watch this space for more information on the launch.
